Lyrical Academy is an educational platform that develops lyrical artists who spread messages of hope that inspire and empower communities towards social change. Lyrical Academy does so by facilitating workshops and art showcases to support artist growth and development. We do this by facilitating art spaces to do workshops and showcases. Additionally, we cultivate think tanks and action groups for strategizing social awareness campaigns. Our purpose behind Lyrical Academy is to provide consistent learning opportunities for artists and organizers, so they can be prepared for facilitating or teaching opportunities in schools and academia.

EVENTS

Lyrical Originals are curated admission-free events showcasing artists, musicians, poets, and filmmakers who share messages of hope, empowerment, and social justice.

Lyrical Open is a monthly open space for creatives to connect, collaborate and network with other artists

and community members.

MUSIC RECORDING AND FILM PRODUCTION STUDIO

Lyrical Studios provides artists and filmmakers with resources needed to create new works addressing social issues and systemic oppression.

RECORD STORE

Lyrical Vinyl is a nonprofit record store that is located in downtown Brisbane. Its purpose is to establish a creative presence and space in the downtown area that promotes the preservation and history of art and music.
